Support Pitt Emergency Medicine

The University of Pittsburgh Department of Emergency Medicine appreciates your interest in making a donation to support our work. Whether you would like to contribute to research initiatives, equipment needs, or educational programs, there are many opportunities for meaningful gifts at every dollar level.

An honorary or memorial gift is a thoughtful way to recognize the accomplishments or memory of a colleague, friend, or relative. Many corporations will match employees' personal donations. This additional support can double or even triple the value of your gift. Consult your tax advisor to determine if your gift to the University is tax deductible.

Support through Foundations

Pittsburgh Emergency Medicine Foundation

The Pittsburgh Emergency Medicine Foundation (PEMF) was created in 1985 to fund educational and research projects, primarily initiated by The Center for Emergency Medicine. In nearly twenty years of existence, more than 100 research grants have been presented to dozens of researchers by the PEMF. These grants have resulted in over 60 published scientific papers, many receiving prestigious national awards. Research that can trace its origins to PEMF grants is leading to significant changes in the practice of emergency medicine.
