Biography

Dr. Dorfsman has focused her energy on the education of fellows, residents and medical students. She has served as the Assistant Program Director of the residency from 2006-2016.  She then assumed the role of Program Director of the residency in 2016. Her interests lie in developing new and innovative strategies to improve the education of both trainees and faculty. She spends her time focused on direct observation of residents as they work in the emergency department, faculty development programs, advancement of new ways to promote the discussion of clinical practice variations, and expansion and development of innovative educational modules.
