Applicants granted an interview will be sent specifics about housing, directions, transportation, and related issues. Interviews are held between the hours of 8am and 4pm on selected Thursdays and Fridays in October and November as well as on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays in December and January.
The interview day begins at the Center for Emergency Medicine (pictured below) at 8:00am. You will have the opportunity to speak with four or five faculty members, as well as a resident or two. Following the interviews is lunch with our residents and short visits to our emergency departments. You may also have the opportunity to respond to an EMS call in our prehospital vehicle. The day should conclude at approximately 4:00 p.m.
An optional dinner takes place the night before interviews as an opportunity to meet the current residents. If you wish to spend some time in any of our Emergency Departments before or after the interview day, please let us know and we can easily make arrangements for you.
